IO223 – for SSI signals:
Signal converter with SSI input and IO-Link interface for single-turn and multi-turn encoders. This IO-Link coupler transfers SSI signals to the IO-Link world. In addition, the conversion result can be called up via an USB port. The device parameterization is simple via the USB interface or via IO-Link using various engineering tools.

Operating modes: As master or slave with clock frequencies up to 2 MHz.

Useful functions: Bit blanking, concentricity function and zero offset.
The device impresses with its compact housing for quick DIN rail snap mounting. The device is optionally available with three HTL PNP control inputs and two PNP control outputs as IO223/CO.
The IO223 belongs to the IO22x device family. Other available devices are the IO220 (with analog input), IO221 (with Strain gauge input) and IO222 (with incremental input).
